Article D4111-13-1 of the French Public Health Code

A practice authorisation commission, reporting to the Minister for Health, assesses the competence in the speciality of applicants for one of the temporary practice authorisations mentioned in article L. 4131-4.

The committee makes its decision on the basis of the candidate’s application, accompanied by a file containing the documents specified by order of the same minister and forwarded by the candidate’s host establishment.

The committee examines all of the applicant’s training and professional experience, and may also call the applicant in for a hearing.

Article D4111-13-1

Une commission d’autorisation d’exercice, placée auprès du ministre chargé de la santé, évalue la compétence dans la spécialité des candidats à l’une des autorisations d’exercice de la médecine à titre temporaire mentionnées à l’article L. 4131-4.

La commission se prononce au vu de la demande du candidat accompagnée d’un dossier comportant les pièces prévues par arrêté du même ministre et transmis par son établissement d’accueil.

La commission d’autorisation d’exercice examine l’ensemble de la formation et de l’expérience professionnelle du candidat, qu’elle peut en outre convoquer pour une audition.
