Article D47-6-3 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The judge delegated to victims may be appointed by the president of the judicial court, in accordance with the provisions of article R. 311-23 of the Code of Judicial Organisation, to preside over hearings of the Criminal Court ruling after referral on civil interests only, provided for by the fourth paragraph of Article 464 of this Code.

Le juge délégué aux victimes peut être désigné par le président du tribunal judiciaire, conformément aux dispositions de l’article R. 311-23 du code de l’organisation judiciaire, pour présider les audiences du tribunal correctionnel statuant après renvoi sur les seuls intérêts civils, prévues par le quatrième alinéa de l’article 464 du présent code.
