Article L1311-6 of the French Public Health Code

A national plan for the prevention of environmental health risks is drawn up every five years. This plan takes into account the effects on health of chemical, biological and physical agents present in different living environments, including the workplace, as well as those of extreme weather events.

Un plan national de prévention des risques pour la santé liés à l’environnement est élaboré tous les cinq ans. Ce plan prend notamment en compte les effets sur la santé des agents chimiques, biologiques et physiques présents dans les différents milieux de vie, y compris le milieu de travail, ainsi que ceux des événements météorologiques extrêmes.
