Article L132-3 of the French Tourism Code

The departmental council determines the status, organisational principles and composition of the departmental tourism committee.

In particular, it includes delegates from the Departmental Council as well as members representing :

1° Consular bodies and, where appropriate, economic development committees ;

2° Tourist offices and tourist information centres;

3° The tourism, spa and leisure professions;

4° Tourism and leisure associations;

5° Tourist municipalities or their groupings and classified tourist resorts;

6° The regional tourism committee.

Le conseil départemental fixe le statut, les principes d’organisation et la composition du comité départemental du tourisme.

Il comprend notamment des délégués du conseil départemental ainsi que des membres représentant :

1° Les organismes consulaires et, le cas échéant, les comités d’expansion économique ;

2° Les offices de tourisme et les syndicats d’initiative ;

3° Les professions du tourisme, du thermalisme, et des loisirs ;

4° Les associations de tourisme et de loisirs ;

5° Les communes touristiques ou leurs groupements et les stations classées de tourisme ;

6° Le comité régional du tourisme.
