Article L221-12 of the French Consumer Code

Where the means of distance communication used imposes space or time limits on the presentation of information, the trader shall provide the consumer by the means of communication used by the latter, before the conclusion of the contract and under the conditions laid down in Article L. 221-5, at least the information on the essential characteristics of the goods or services, their price, his identity, the duration of the contract and the right of withdrawal.
The trader shall send the consumer the other information provided for in the same article by any other means appropriate to the means of distance communication used.

Article L221-12

Lorsque la technique de communication à distance utilisée impose des limites d’espace ou de temps pour la présentation des informations, le professionnel fournit au consommateur par le moyen de communication utilisé par celui-ci, avant la conclusion du contrat et dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 221-5, au moins les informations relatives aux caractéristiques essentielles des biens ou des services, à leur prix, à son identité, à la durée du contrat et au droit de rétractation.
Le professionnel transmet au consommateur les autres informations prévues au même article par tout autre moyen adapté à la technique de communication à distance utilisée.
