Article L222-14 of the French Consumer Code

The consumer credit agreements provided for in Chapter II of Title I of Book III may not, even with the consumer’s agreement, begin to be performed during the first seven days, except in the case of the assigned credit agreements referred to in Article L. 222-11, which may not begin to be performed during the first three days.

Les contrats de crédit à la consommation prévus au chapitre II du titre Ier du livre III ne peuvent recevoir, même avec l’accord du consommateur, de commencement d’exécution durant les sept premiers jours, sauf s’agissant des contrats de crédit affecté mentionnés à l’article L. 222-11, qui ne peuvent recevoir de commencement d’exécution durant les trois premiers jours.
