Article L224-62 of the French Consumer Code

Where the conclusion of a contract for the sale or provision of services between a trader and a consumer, at a fair, exhibition or any commercial event covered by Chapter II of Title VI of Book VII of the Commercial Code, is accompanied, on the part of the trader, by an offer of affected credit as defined in 9° of Article L. 311-1, the contract for the sale or provision of services shall state in clear and legible terms, in a visible box, that :
1° The purchaser has a right of withdrawal for the affected credit used to finance their purchase;
2° The contract of sale or provision of services is automatically terminated, without compensation, if the borrower, within a period of fourteen days, exercises their right of withdrawal relating to the affected credit under the conditions set out in Article L. 312-52;
3° In the event that the contract of sale or provision of services is rescinded following the exercise of the right of withdrawal for affected credit, the seller or service provider shall reimburse, on simple request, any sum that the purchaser may have paid in advance of the price.

Lorsque la conclusion d’un contrat de vente ou de prestation de services entre un professionnel et un consommateur, à l’occasion d’une foire, d’un salon ou de toute manifestation commerciale relevant du chapitre II du titre VI du livre VII du code de commerce, s’accompagne, de la part du professionnel, d’une offre de crédit affecté tel que défini au 9° de l’article L. 311-1, le contrat de vente ou de prestation de services mentionne en des termes clairs et lisibles, dans un encadré apparent, que :
1° L’acheteur dispose d’un droit de rétractation pour le crédit affecté servant à financer son achat ;
2° Le contrat de vente ou de prestation de services est résolu de plein droit, sans indemnité, si l’emprunteur, dans le délai de quatorze jours, exerce son droit de rétractation relatif au crédit affecté dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 312-52 ;
3° En cas de résolution du contrat de vente ou de prestation de services consécutive à l’exercice du droit de rétractation pour le crédit affecté, le vendeur ou le prestataire de services rembourse, sur simple demande, toute somme que l’acheteur aurait versée d’avance sur le prix.
