The trader shall provide the consumer with a written contract on paper or on any other durable medium.
It shall be drawn up, at the consumer’s choice, in the language or in one of the languages of the Member State in which he resides or of which he is a national, provided that it is an official language of the European Union.
In any event, the contract shall be drawn up in French if the consumer resides in France or if the trader carries out his sales activity on French territory.
In the case of a timeshare contract concerning a specific immovable property located on the territory of a Member State, the trader shall provide the consumer with a certified translation of the contract in the language or one of the languages of that Member State.
