Article L224-79 of the French Consumer Code

The consumer has a period of fourteen clear days to withdraw from one of the contracts mentioned in articles L. 224-69 and L. 224-70, without giving any reason.
He has this right from the day of conclusion of the contract or from the day of its receipt, if this receipt is subsequent to the day of conclusion of the said contract, without compensation or costs.

Le consommateur dispose d’un délai de quatorze jours francs pour se rétracter d’un des contrats mentionnés aux articles L. 224-69 et L. 224-70, sans avoir à indiquer de motif.
Il dispose de ce droit à compter du jour de la conclusion du contrat ou du jour de sa réception, si cette réception est postérieure au jour de la conclusion dudit contrat, sans indemnité ni frais.
