Article L224-88 of the French Consumer Code

Where payment of the price is made in whole or in part by means of credit granted to the consumer by the trader or through a third party, the exercise by the consumer of his right of withdrawal from the timeshare, long-term holiday product, resale or exchange contract shall entail the automatic termination, without costs or compensation, of the credit agreement.

Lorsque le paiement du prix est acquitté en tout ou partie à l’aide d’un crédit accordé au consommateur par le professionnel ou par l’intermédiaire d’un tiers, l’exercice par le consommateur de son droit de rétractation du contrat d’utilisation de biens à temps partagé, du contrat de produit de vacances à long terme, de revente ou d’échange emporte la résiliation de plein droit, sans frais ni indemnité, du contrat de crédit.
