I. – For its application in New Caledonia and French Polynesia, Article L. 2131-1 is amended as follows:
“1° In III, the words: “a multidisciplinary prenatal diagnosis centre” are replaced by the words: “a consultation providing multidisciplinary care”;
“2° In IV, the words “, where applicable a member of a multidisciplinary prenatal diagnosis centre,” are deleted;
“2° bis In the last paragraph of VI, the words: “a doctor qualified in genetics, who may be a member of a multidisciplinary team” are replaced by the words: “a doctor with a view to a consultation to ensure appropriate care”;
“2° ter In VI bis, the words: “the head of the centre for medically assisted procreation” are replaced by the words: “the doctor for medically assisted procreation”.
“3° VII is replaced by the following provisions:
“VII. – The performance of medical biology tests intended to establish a prenatal diagnosis is subject to compliance with the principles set out in this chapter. ” ;
“4° VIII is deleted. “
II. – For its application in New Caledonia and French Polynesia, 1° of Article L. 2131-1-1 is worded as follows:
” 1° By order made on a proposal from the Agence de la biomédecine, the medical criteria justifying the communication to the pregnant woman and, where applicable, to the other member of the couple, of foetal genetic characteristics with no definite link to the initial indication for the examination mentioned in VI of the same Article L. 2131-1. “
