Article L341-26 of the French Consumer Code

Subject to the provisions of the second paragraph, a creditor who grants credit without providing the borrower with the European Standardised Information Sheet referred to in Article L. 313-7 and the second paragraph of Article L. 313-24 or the pre-contractual information mentioned in the second paragraph of article L. 313-64 may be deprived of the right to interest, in full or in the proportion set by the judge.

In the event that the annual percentage rate of charge determined in accordance with articles L. 314-1 to L. 314-4 is not stated or is stated incorrectly, the lender may be deprived of the right to interest in the proportion set by the judge, having regard in particular to the loss suffered by the borrower.

Sous réserve des dispositions du second alinéa, le prêteur qui accorde un crédit sans communiquer à l’emprunteur la fiche d’information standardisée européenne mentionnée à l’article L. 313-7 et au second alinéa de l’article L. 313-24 ou l’information précontractuelle mentionnée au deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 313-64 peut être déchu du droit aux intérêts, en totalité ou dans la proportion fixée par le juge.

En cas de défaut de mention ou de mention erronée du taux annuel effectif global déterminé conformément aux articles L. 314-1 à L. 314-4, le prêteur peut être déchu du droit aux intérêts dans la proportion fixée par le juge, au regard notamment du préjudice pour l’emprunteur.
