Article L4111-7 of the French Public Health Code

Nationals of a State which belonged to the French Union and which has not entered into an undertaking with France as referred to in article L. 4111-3 who, on 14 July 1972, can prove that they were duly registered with the Order of Physicians, Dental Surgeons or Midwives, are authorised to continue practising their profession, provided that they have not been struck off the Register following a disciplinary sanction.

Les ressortissants d’un Etat ayant appartenu à l’Union française et n’ayant pas passé avec la France un engagement mentionné à l’article L. 4111-3 qui, à la date du 14 juillet 1972, justifient avoir été régulièrement inscrits à l’ordre des médecins, des chirurgiens-dentistes ou des sages-femmes, sont autorisés à continuer la pratique de leur art, sous réserve de n’avoir pas été radiés de cet ordre à la suite d’une sanction disciplinaire.
