Article L512-6 of the French Consumer Code

When the premises mentioned in article L. 512-5 are also for residential use, checks may only be carried out between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. and, if the occupant objects, with the authorisation of the liberty and custody judge of the judicial court in whose jurisdiction the premises are located.

Article L512-6

Lorsque les lieux mentionnés à l’article L. 512-5 sont également à usage d’habitation, les contrôles ne peuvent être effectués qu’entre 8 heures et 20 heures, et, si l’occupant s’y oppose, avec l’autorisation du juge des libertés et de la détention du tribunal judiciaire dans le ressort duquel sont situés ces lieux.
