Article L524-2 of the French Consumer Code

The administrative authority responsible for competition and consumer affairs may, after notifying the public prosecutor, ask the civil court to order, where appropriate subject to a fine, any measure likely to put an end to the breaches of contractual obligations or unlawful conduct referred to in Articles L. 511-5, L. 511-6 and L. 511-7.

L’autorité administrative chargée de la concurrence et de la consommation peut, après en avoir avisé le procureur de la République, demander à la juridiction civile d’ordonner, le cas échéant sous astreinte, toute mesure de nature à mettre un terme aux manquements à des obligations contractuelles ou aux agissements illicites mentionnés aux articles L. 511-5, L. 511-6 et L. 511-7.
