Article L6116-1 of the French Public Health Code

The implementation of laws and regulations relating to public health is monitored, within health, social and medico-social establishments, by the agents mentioned in articles L. 1421-1 and L. 1435-7 and the members of the Inspectorate General of Social Affairs.

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board and the Director of the establishment are kept informed of the conclusions of these inspections, in compliance with the rules of professional secrecy and ethics.

Article L6116-1

L’exécution des lois et règlements qui se rapportent à la santé publique est contrôlée, à l’intérieur des établissements sanitaires, sociaux et médico-sociaux, par les agents mentionnés aux articles L. 1421-1 et L. 1435-7 et les membres de l’inspection générale des affaires sociales.

Le président du conseil de surveillance et le directeur de l’établissement sont tenus informés des conclusions de ces contrôles, dans le respect des règles du secret professionnel et de la déontologie.
