Article L6353-9 of the French Labour Code

The information requested, in any form whatsoever, by a training organisation from a candidate for a course as defined in article L. 6313-1, a trainee or an apprentice, may only be used to assess his ability to follow the course, whether it is requested, offered or continued.

This information must have a direct and necessary link with the training course and must be provided in good faith.

Les informations demandées, sous quelque forme que ce soit, par un organisme de formation au candidat à une action telle que définie à l’article L. 6313-1, à un stagiaire ou à un apprenti ne peuvent avoir comme finalité que d’apprécier son aptitude à suivre l’action de formation, qu’elle soit sollicitée, proposée ou poursuivie.

Ces informations doivent présenter un lien direct et nécessaire avec l’action de formation et il doit y être répondu de bonne foi.
