The great customary council may also refer to itself any draft or proposed deliberation of the territorial collectivity of French Guiana that directly concerns the environment, the living environment or the cultural activities of the Amerindian and Bushinenge populations.

The result of the self-referral is recorded in minutes. It is forwarded to the Assembly of French Guiana for deliberation.

The Grand Customary Council may designate one of its members to present the result of the self-investigation to the Assembly of French Guiana.

The final deliberation of the Assembly of French Guiana is notified to the Grand Customary Council.

Le grand conseil coutumier peut également se saisir de tout projet ou proposition de délibération de la collectivité territoriale de Guyane intéressant directement l’environnement, le cadre de vie ou les activités culturelles des populations amérindiennes et bushinenges.

Le résultat de l’autosaisine est consigné par procès-verbal. Il est transmis à la délibération de l’assemblée de Guyane.

Le grand conseil coutumier peut désigner l’un de ses membres pour exposer devant l’assemblée de Guyane le résultat de l’autosaisine.

La délibération finale de l’assemblée de Guyane est notifiée au grand conseil coutumier.
