I.-The following are eligible for election as members of a territorial chamber of commerce and industry and a regional chamber of commerce and industry, provided they are at least eighteen years of age and satisfy the conditions laid down in II of Article L. 713-3 :
1° Voters in their own right referred to in 1° of II of Article L. 713-1 registered on the electoral roll for the corresponding constituency and providing proof, in the case of the electors referred to in a, b and c of the same 1°, that they have been registered for at least two years in the Trade and Companies Register;
2° Electors registered as representatives, referred to in 2° of II of Article L. 713-1 and Article L. 713-2, registered on the electoral roll for the constituency and providing proof that the company they represent has been in business for at least two years.
II.-Any member of a territorial chamber of commerce and industry and a regional chamber of commerce and industry who ceases to meet the conditions of eligibility set out in I above shall submit his resignation to the prefect.Failing this, the prefect shall declare him to have resigned automatically.
However, a cessation of activity of less than six months does not entail resignation, except in the cases mentioned in 2°, 3°, 4° and 5° of II of article L. 713-3.
