In Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, the Institut d’émission des départements d’outre-mer (French overseas departments note-issuing bank) is responsible for centralising information used to identify accounts of all kinds held by natural and legal persons, as well as safe deposit box rentals.
The Institute informs the institutions and persons authorised to maintain accounts and to open regulated savings accounts in particular.
