At the request of the administrative authority, and without prejudice to the cases provided for in c and d of 2° of Article L. 542-2, the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons shall rule on the asylum application of a foreign national assigned to residence or placed in detention pursuant to Article L. 753-1 in accordance with the procedures and within the timeframe provided for in Article L. 531-29.

A la demande de l’autorité administrative, et sans préjudice des cas prévus aux c et d du 2° de l’article L. 542-2, l’Office français de protection des réfugiés et apatrides statue sur la demande d’asile de l’étranger assigné à résidence ou placé en rétention en application de l’article L. 753-1 selon les modalités et dans le délai prévu à l’article L. 531-29.
