Article R111-2 of the French Consumer Code

For the application of the provisions of Article L. 111-2, in addition to the information provided for in Article R. 111-1, the trader shall communicate to the consumer or make available to the consumer the following information:

1° The status and legal form of the business;

2° Contact details for rapid and direct communication with the company;

3° Where applicable, the company’s registration number in the Trade and Companies Register or the National Register of Companies as a business in the trades and crafts sector;

4° If its activity is subject to an authorisation scheme, the name and address of the authority that issued the authorisation;

>
5° If it is liable for value added tax and identified by an individual number pursuant to article 286 ter of the General Tax Code, its individual identification number;

6° If he is a member of a regulated profession, his professional title, the Member State of the European Union in which it was awarded and, where applicable, the name of the professional association or body with which he is registered;

7° The general terms and conditions, if any;

8° Where applicable, the contractual clauses relating to the applicable legislation and the competent jurisdiction;

> Any financial guarantees or other guarantees required by the contractual terms and conditions.
9° Any financial guarantee or professional liability insurance taken out by him, details of the insurer or guarantor and the geographical coverage of the contract or undertaking.

Article R111-2

Pour l’application des dispositions de l’article L. 111-2, outre les informations prévues à l’article R. 111-1, le professionnel communique au consommateur ou met à sa disposition les informations suivantes :

1° Le statut et la forme juridique de l’entreprise ;

2° Les coordonnées permettant d’entrer en contact rapidement et de communiquer directement avec lui ;

3° Le cas échéant, le numéro d’inscription au registre du commerce et des sociétés ou au Registre national des entreprises en tant qu’entreprise du secteur des métiers et de l’artisanat ;

4° Si son activité est soumise à un régime d’autorisation, le nom et l’adresse de l’autorité ayant délivré l’autorisation ;

5° S’il est assujetti à la taxe sur la valeur ajoutée et identifié par un numéro individuel en application de l’article 286 ter du code général des impôts, son numéro individuel d’identification ;

6° S’il est membre d’une profession réglementée, son titre professionnel, l’Etat membre de l’Union européenne dans lequel il a été octroyé ainsi que, le cas échéant, le nom de l’ordre ou de l’organisme professionnel auprès duquel il est inscrit ;

7° Les conditions générales, s’il en utilise ;

8° Le cas échéant, les clauses contractuelles relatives à la législation applicable et la juridiction compétente ;

9° L’éventuelle garantie financière ou assurance de responsabilité professionnelle souscrite par lui, les coordonnées de l’assureur ou du garant ainsi que la couverture géographique du contrat ou de l’engagement.
