Article R123-309 of the French Commercial code

The President of the regional Chamber of Trades and Crafts or, by delegation, the President of the departmental Chamber of Trades and Crafts requests from the keeper of the National Business Register, via the single body mentioned in article R. 123-1, for the entry in the file of the company concerned, for each activity falling within the trades and crafts sector, of the complementary code of the French crafts and trades activity nomenclature in force, and, where applicable, the indication that the activity carried out falls within the scope of arts and crafts, as defined by the article 20 of law no. 96-603 of 5 July 1996 relating to the development and promotion of trade and craft trades, specifying the wording of the related craft trade.

Le président de la chambre de métiers et de l’artisanat de région ou, par délégation, le président de la chambre de métiers et de l’artisanat de niveau départemental sollicite du teneur du Registre national des entreprises, par l’intermédiaire de l’organisme unique mentionné à l’article R. 123-1, l’inscription au dossier de l’entreprise concernée, pour chaque activité relevant du secteur des métiers et de l’artisanat, du code complémentaire de la nomenclature d’activités française de l’artisanat en vigueur, et, le cas échéant, l’indication que l’activité exercée relève des métiers d’art, tels que définis par l’article 20 de la loi n° 96-603 du 5 juillet 1996 relative au développement et à la promotion du commerce et de l’artisanat, en précisant le libellé du métier d’art de rattachement.
