When the employee accepts the reclassification leave, an assessment and orientation interview is carried out by the support unit. The purpose of this interview is to determine the employee’s professional reclassification project and how it is to be implemented.
At the end of this interview, the support unit provides the employer and the employee with a document specifying the content and duration of the actions required to promote redeployment.
When the assessment and orientation interview has not enabled a professional redeployment project to be defined, the support unit informs the employee that he/she may benefit from the skills assessment provided for in article L. 1233-71 and carried out in accordance with the procedures set out in articles R. 1233-35 and R. 6313-4. The purpose of this assessment is to help the employee to determine and develop his professional redeployment plan and, where necessary, to provide the training required to implement this plan, as well as to enable the employee to validate his acquired experience. When such actions are proposed, the organisation responsible for carrying out the skills assessment provides the support unit with information about their nature, duration and implementation. On the basis of this information, the support unit will draw up the document referred to in the second paragraph.
