Article R131-11 of the French Sports Code

The approved sports federation undertakes to disseminate and promote the principles of the Republican Commitment Contract among its members who are :

1° An association affiliated to the federation;

2° A licence holder of the federation;

3° A profit-making organisation whose purpose is the practice of one or more of the federation’s disciplines and which they authorise to issue licences;

4° An organisation whose purpose is not the practice of one or more of the federation’s disciplines, but which contributes to the development of one or more of these disciplines;

5° A sports company.

To this end, it shall send them the contract of republican commitment referred to in article L. 131-8. For the members mentioned in 2°, this communication takes place during the procedure for issuing the licence provided for in article L. 131-6.

The approved sports federation also undertakes to disseminate and promote the principles of the Republican Commitment Contract to its employees and volunteers and to the holders of permits allowing participation in the sports activities of the federation. To this end, it informs them by any means of the commitments it has entered into.

The approved sports federation undertakes to organise, directly or indirectly, training sessions relating to the detection, reporting and prevention of behaviour that contravenes the principles of the Republican Commitment Contract, from which it shall in particular benefit the managers of the members mentioned in 1°, 3°, 4° and 5° as well as its employees or volunteers acting in a managerial capacity.

Article R131-11

La fédération sportive agréée s’engage à diffuser et promouvoir les principes du contrat d’engagement républicain auprès de ses membres présentant la qualité :

1° D’association affiliée à la fédération ;

2° De licencié de la fédération ;

3° D’organisme à but lucratif dont l’objet est la pratique d’une ou plusieurs disciplines de la fédération et qu’elles autorisent à délivrer des licences ;

4° D’organisme qui, sans avoir pour objet la pratique d’une ou plusieurs disciplines de la fédération, contribuent au développement d’une ou plusieurs de celles-ci ;

5° De société sportive.

A cette fin, elle leur communique le contrat d’engagement républicain mentionné à l’article L. 131-8. Pour les membres mentionnés au 2°, cette communication intervient au cours de la procédure de délivrance de la licence prévue à l’article L. 131-6.

La fédération sportive agréée s’engage également à diffuser et promouvoir les principes du contrat d’engagement républicain auprès de ses préposés, salariés ou bénévoles et auprès des titulaires de titres permettant la participation aux activités sportives de la fédération. A cette fin, elle les informe par tout moyen des engagements qu’elle a souscrits.

La fédération sportive agréée s’engage à organiser, directement ou indirectement, des sessions de formation relative à la détection, au signalement et à la prévention des comportements contrevenant aux principes du contrat d’engagement républicain dont elle fait notamment bénéficier les dirigeants des membres mentionnés aux 1°, 3°, 4° et 5° ainsi que ses préposés, salariés ou bénévoles agissant en qualité de dirigeant.
