Article R131-27 of the French Sports Code

In order to benefit from a delegation, the federation which has set up a professional league without legal personality shall draw up regulations specific to the activities entrusted to this league.

These regulations shall determine in particular the competences and composition of the league as well as the rules and procedures for appointing its members.

They shall provide that the majority of the members of the league shall be elected directly by the sports associations that are members of the federation, by the professional sportsmen and sportswomen and by the professional trainers appointed by their representative organisation where such exists.

Pour pouvoir bénéficier d’une délégation, la fédération qui a constitué une ligue professionnelle non dotée de la personnalité juridique établit les règlements spécifiques aux activités qui sont confiées à cette ligue.


Ces règlements déterminent notamment les compétences et la composition de la ligue ainsi que les règles et les modalités de désignation de ses membres.


Ils prévoient que la majorité des membres de la ligue est élue directement par les associations sportives membres de la fédération, par les sportifs professionnels et les entraîneurs professionnels désignés par leur organisation représentative lorsqu’elle existe.
