Article R131-4 of the French Sports Code

By way of derogation from 4° of article R. 131-3, the following may be approved regardless of how long they have been in existence:

1° Federations created by the transformation of a specialised commission set up, under the conditions laid down in article L. 131-19, by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee;

2° Federations created by the transformation of a national commission organised within an existing approved federation;

3° Federations created by the merger of previously approved federations.

Article R131-4

Peuvent, par dérogation au 4° de l’article R. 131-3, être agréées quelle que soit leur durée d’existence :

1° Les fédérations créées par transformation d’une commission spécialisée mise en place, dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 131-19, par le Comité national olympique et sportif français ;

2° Les fédérations créées par transformation d’une commission nationale organisée au sein d’une fédération agréée existante ;

3° Les fédérations nées de la fusion de fédérations antérieurement agréées.
