Article R131-9 of the French Sports Code

Approval may be withdrawn from a federation which ceases to fulfil the conditions laid down for its issue, in particular:

1° In the event of amendments to the Articles of Association or disciplinary regulations which are incompatible with legislative and regulatory provisions;

2° For a serious reason relating either to a breach by the federation of its articles of association, or to a breach of public order or public morality;

3° In the event of a breach of health or safety regulations;

4° Failure to comply with the provisions of articles L. 212-1, L. 212-2, L. 212-9 and L. 322-1 ;

5° In the event of insufficient participation in the implementation of public service missions relating to the development and democratisation of physical and sporting activities.

Approval is withdrawn if the federation’s activities or the manner in which it pursues them fail to comply with the commitments of the Republican Commitment Contract mentioned in article L. 131-8.

L’agrément peut être retiré à la fédération qui cesse de remplir les conditions prévues pour sa délivrance, notamment :

1° En cas de modification des statuts ou du règlement disciplinaire incompatible avec les dispositions législatives et réglementaires ;

2° Pour un motif grave tiré soit de la violation par la fédération de ses statuts, soit d’une atteinte à l’ordre public ou à la moralité publique ;

3° En cas de méconnaissance des règles d’hygiène ou de sécurité ;

4° En cas de méconnaissance des dispositions des articles L. 212-1, L. 212-2, L. 212-9 et L. 322-1 ;

5° En cas de participation insuffisante à la mise en œuvre des missions de service public relatives au développement et à la démocratisation des activités physiques et sportives.

L’agrément est retiré si les activités de la fédération ou les modalités selon lesquelles elle les poursuit méconnaissent les engagements du contrat d’engagement républicain mentionné à l’article L. 131-8.
