Article R2122-68 of the French Labour Code

Once the system has been sealed, the chairman and assessors of the polling station check the integrity of the remote electronic voting system.

In particular, they check that the number of votes cast in the electronic ballot box corresponds to the number of voters on the voters’ list and that the votes recorded were cast during the voting period.

These observations are included in the log of remote electronic voting operations. This log is automatically published and sent to the technical committee referred to in article R. 2122-58 and to the delegates referred to in article R. 2122-59. It is appended to the minutes of the voting operations mentioned in article R. 2122-56.

Une fois le scellement opéré, le président et les assesseurs du bureau de vote vérifient l’intégrité du système de vote par voie électronique à distance.

Ils vérifient en particulier que le nombre de votes exprimés dans l’urne électronique correspond au nombre de votants figurant sur la liste d’émargement et que les votes enregistrés ont été exprimés pendant la période de vote.

Ces constatations sont incluses dans le journal qui recense les opérations de vote électronique à distance. Ce journal est automatiquement édité et communiqué au comité technique mentionné à l’article R. 2122-58 et aux délégués mentionnés à l’article R. 2122-59. Il est annexé au procès-verbal des opérations de vote mentionné à l’article R. 2122-56.
