Article R2122-73 of the French Labour Code

For postal votes, use is made of :

1° A return envelope addressed to the processing centre ;

2° A ballot paper on which both the voter’s signature is recorded and the vote is cast. The information on the ballot paper relating to the identification of the voter is encoded with a random identifier so that it is impossible to establish a link between the meaning of the vote and the identity of the voter.

Pour le vote par correspondance, il est fait usage :

1° D’une enveloppe de retour adressée au centre de traitement ;

2° D’un bulletin de vote permettant à la fois l’émargement de l’électeur et l’expression de son vote. Les informations du bulletin relatives à l’identification de l’électeur font l’objet d’un encodage avec identifiant aléatoire de sorte qu’il soit impossible d’établir un lien entre le sens du vote et l’identité de l’électeur.
