Article R222-12 of the French Sports Code

The sports agents’ commission may, at the request of the licence holder, suspend a sports agent’s licence. The regulations governing sports agents specify the procedures for requesting suspension and lifting the suspension.

Without prejudice to disciplinary proceedings, the commission automatically suspends the licence of a sports agent who is in one of the cases of incompatibility provided for in 1°, 2°, 4° and 5° of article L. 222-9. It shall withdraw the licence of a sports agent who is subject to one of the incapacities provided for in 3° of article L. 222-9 or in article L. 222-11.

A sports agent whose licence is suspended remains subject to the disciplinary powers of the Sports Agents Commission.

Article R222-12

La commission des agents sportifs peut, à la demande du titulaire, suspendre une licence d’agent sportif. Le règlement des agents sportifs précise les modalités des demandes de suspension et de levée de la suspension.

Sans préjudice de l’exercice de poursuites disciplinaires, la commission suspend d’office la licence de l’agent sportif qui se trouve dans un des cas d’incompatibilité prévus aux 1°, 2°, 4° et 5° de l’article L. 222-9. Elle retire la licence de l’agent sportif frappé d’une des incapacités prévues au 3° de l’article L. 222-9 ou à l’article L. 222-11.

L’agent sportif dont la licence est suspendue demeure soumis au pouvoir disciplinaire de la commission des agents sportifs.
