Article R222-24 of the French Sports Code

The sports agents’ commission acknowledges receipt of the declaration. If it is not accompanied by all of the required documents, the committee will ask the interested party to produce the missing documents. This request is sent within one month of receipt of the application.

Within one month of receipt of the complete application, the committee will notify the applicant of its decision regarding recognition of his qualification. However, the committee may, by means of a reasoned decision notified within this period, extend the period for examining the application. The decision regarding recognition of the qualification is then notified within three months of receipt of the complete file.

If the Commission considers that the person concerned does not meet the conditions for practising in France, or if it prescribes a compensatory measure in accordance with the provisions of article R. 222-26, it will give reasons for its decision.

Failure to notify a decision within the period of one or three months referred to in the second paragraph shall be deemed tacit recognition of the applicant’s qualification.

La commission des agents sportifs accuse réception de la déclaration. Si elle n’est pas accompagnée de l’ensemble des pièces requises, la commission invite l’intéressé à produire les pièces manquantes. Cette invitation est notifiée dans le mois qui suit la réception de la demande.

Dans un délai d’un mois à compter de la date de réception du dossier complet, la commission notifie à l’intéressé sa décision relative à la reconnaissance de sa qualification. Toutefois, la commission peut, par une décision motivée notifiée dans ce délai, prolonger la période d’instruction de la demande. La décision relative à la reconnaissance de qualification est alors notifiée dans les trois mois de la réception du dossier complet.

Si la commission estime que l’intéressé ne remplit pas les conditions pour exercer en France, ou si elle prescrit une mesure de compensation conformément aux dispositions de l’article R. 222-26, elle motive sa décision.

L’absence de notification d’une décision dans le délai d’un ou trois mois mentionné au deuxième alinéa vaut reconnaissance tacite de la qualification du demandeur.
