The deliberation of the municipal council deciding to relinquish the operation of the régie determines the date on which the operations of the régie cease.

The accounts are closed on this date.

The assets and liabilities of the régie are included in the accounts of the commune.

The mayor is responsible for winding up the régie. He may appoint a liquidator by decree, whose powers he determines. The liquidator has the status of an authorising officer accredited to the accounting officer. He prepares the administrative account for the financial year, which he sends to the prefect of the department in which the régie has its registered office, who closes the accounts.

The liquidation operations are recorded in accounts kept by the accounting officer. These accounts are appended to the commune’s accounts. At the end of the liquidation operations, the commune corrects its results by taking over the results of the régie, by budgetary deliberation.

Les comptes sont arrêtés à cette date.

L’actif et le passif de la régie sont repris dans les comptes de la commune.

Le maire est chargé de procéder à la liquidation de la régie. Il peut désigner par arrêté un liquidateur dont il détermine les pouvoirs. Le liquidateur a la qualité d’ordonnateur accrédité auprès du comptable. Il prépare le compte administratif de l’exercice qu’il adresse au préfet du département, siège de la régie, qui arrête les comptes.

Les opérations de liquidation sont retracées dans une comptabilité tenue par le comptable. Cette comptabilité est annexée à celle de la commune. Au terme des opérations de liquidation, la commune corrige ses résultats de la reprise des résultats de la régie, par délibération budgétaire.
