Article R2223-48 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The vocational training provided for in Article R. 2223-42 is provided by the employer under the conditions set out in articles D. 6321-1 and D. 6321-3 of the Labour Code. When it is aimed at local authority civil servants, it is organised under the conditions provided for in article 23 of law no. 84-594 of 12 July 1984 relating to the training of local authority civil servants and supplementing law no. 84-53 of 26 January 1984 on statutory provisions relating to the local authority civil service.

The training defined in article R. 2223-44 must be provided by a training organisation declared in accordance with articles L. 6351-1 et seq. of the French Labour Code. Where it is aimed at local authority civil servants, it is organised by the Centre national de la fonction publique territoriale.

La formation professionnelle prévue à l’article R. 2223-42 est assurée par l’employeur dans les conditions fixées aux articles D. 6321-1 et D. 6321-3 du code du travail. Lorsqu’elle s’adresse à des agents de la fonction publique territoriale, celle-ci est organisée dans les conditions prévues à l’article 23 de la loi n° 84-594 du 12 juillet 1984 relative à la formation des agents de la fonction publique territoriale et complétant la loi n° 84-53 du 26 janvier 1984 portant dispositions statutaires relatives à la fonction publique territoriale.

La formation définie à l’article R. 2223-44 doit être assurée par un organisme de formation déclaré conformément aux articles L. 6351-1 et suivants du code du travail. Lorsqu’elle s’adresse à des agents de la fonction publique territoriale, celle-ci est organisée par le Centre national de la fonction publique territoriale.
