Article R2333-120-30 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The matter is referred to the commission by petition.

The petition must be submitted on a form, the model of which is laid down by order of the vice-president of the Conseil d’Etat.

It must contain all the information requested in the relevant sections of the petition form.

It must be drawn up in the French language. The application and, where applicable, the pleadings, shall be signed either by the applicant, or by a lawyer, or by a lawyer at the Conseil d’Etat and the Cour de cassation. In the case of a legal entity, they are signed by a person who can prove that he or she is entitled to take legal action or by one of the aforementioned representatives.

La commission est saisie par requête.

La requête doit être présentée sur un formulaire dont le modèle est fixé par arrêté du vice-président du Conseil d’Etat.

Elle doit contenir tous les renseignements demandés dans les rubriques pertinentes du formulaire de requête.

Elle est établie en langue française. La requête et, le cas échéant, les mémoires, sont signés soit par le requérant, soit par un avocat, soit par un avocat au Conseil d’Etat et à la Cour de cassation. S’il s’agit d’une personne morale, ils sont signés par une personne justifiant de sa qualité pour agir en justice ou par l’un des mandataires susmentionnés.
