The decision may be drawn up in paper or electronic form.
Where the decision is drawn up on paper, the minutes shall be kept at the court registry for each case, together with the correspondence and documents relating to the investigation.
Where the decision is drawn up in electronic form, the procedures used must guarantee its integrity and preservation. The decision drawn up on an electronic medium shall be signed using a secure electronic signature process that meets the requirements of decree no. 2017-1416 of 28 September 2017 relating to electronic signatures.
The procedures for applying this article shall be specified by joint order of the Minister of Justice and the Minister of the Interior.
