Article R314-6 of the French Consumer Code

In the case of an advance made under a factoring contract, the overall effective rate is an annual rate, proportional to the period rate and expressed per hundred monetary units.
The amount of the advance to be taken into consideration for calculating the overall effective rate is related, using the numbers method, to a period of one day.
This rate is calculated according to the formula set out in the appendix to this code.

Lorsqu’il s’agit d’une avance réalisée dans le cadre d’un contrat d’affacturage, le taux effectif global est un taux annuel, proportionnel au taux de période et exprimé pour cent unités monétaires.
Le montant de l’avance à prendre en considération pour le calcul du taux effectif global est rapporté, selon la méthode des nombres, à une période d’un jour.
Ce taux est calculé selon la formule figurant en annexe au présent code.
