In addition to the reimbursement of their travel expenses, calculated in accordance with the conditions laid down for travel by civil servants for the Ministry of Justice, each person appointed as an ad hoc administrator and who appears on the list provided for in article R. 343-2 an allowance to cover the costs incurred in assisting the minor during his or her placement and detention in the waiting area and representing him or her in all administrative and legal proceedings relating to this detention as well as those relating to his or her entry into national territory by virtue of the provisions of Title IV, articles L. 821-3, L. 821-4, L. 821-5, L. 824-1, L. 824-3, L. 824-8, L. 824-9, L. 824-11 of this Code, and articles L. 521-1, L. 521-2 and L. 521-3 of the Code of Administrative Justice.
An indemnity for failure to act is allocated when the assignment could not be completed for a reason unrelated to the ad hoc administrator, on the basis of a report indicating the diligence accomplished, under the conditions defined in article R. 53-8 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The amount of the indemnities is set by order of the Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice, and the Minister responsible for the budget.
