Article R4113-111 of the French Public Health Code

The suspension decision issued pursuant to article L. 4113-14 is notified to the doctor, dental surgeon or midwife by the competent administrative authority by hand-delivered letter against a receipt. The decision shall specify the date on which the hearing of the person concerned provided for in the same article is to take place. The decision shall state the reasons on which it is based.

The suspension measure is automatically terminated when the decision of the professional body has been taken in application of the second paragraph of article L. 4113-14, or when the doctor, dental surgeon or midwife has not been heard within the period provided for in the same article, unless the failure to comply with this formality is the fault of the person concerned.

Article R4113-111

La décision de suspension prononcée en application de l’article L. 4113-14 est notifiée au médecin, au chirurgien-dentiste ou à la sage-femme par l’autorité administrative compétente par lettre remise en mains propres contre émargement. La décision précise la date à laquelle l’audition de l’intéressé prévue à ce même article a lieu. La décision est motivée.

La mesure de suspension prend fin de plein droit lorsque la décision de l’instance ordinale est intervenue en application du deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 4113-14, ou lorsqu’il n’a pas été procédé à l’audition du médecin, du chirurgien-dentiste ou de la sage-femme dans le délai prévu à ce même article, sauf si l’absence de cette formalité est le fait de l’intéressé lui-même.
