I.-Health and social action inspectors, public health medical inspectors, public health pharmacist inspectors, health engineers, health study engineers, health technicians, as well as inspectors and inspectors from regional health agencies appointed for this purpose by the director general of the regional health agency, and staff from the decentralised services of the judicial protection of young people, carry out inspections of holiday stays and places, as well as places where holidaymakers gather before leaving for their holiday destination. Supervision is carried out under the conditions defined in II of article L. 412-2.
Agents are authorised and sworn in under the conditions defined by articles R. 331-6 and R. 331-6-1 of the Code de l’action sociale et des familles. They may be accompanied by any person qualified under the conditions laid down inarticle L. 1421-1 of the Public Health Code.
II – The officers mentioned in the first paragraph of I shall check in particular the accuracy of the information sent to the Prefect under the conditions set out in article R. 412-14 of this Code. They shall also check the conditions in which the organiser ensures the safety of the premises and persons on site and safeguards their state of health, integrity or physical and moral well-being.
III – At the end of their inspection, they will draw up a report stating whether or not the conditions for the reception and support of the persons accommodated are compliant, together with any observations and proposals for improvement. This report is sent to the Prefect of the département.
IV – Infringements are recorded by persons authorised and sworn to do so, and a report is sent to the public prosecutor.
