Article R412-14-1 of the French Tourism Code

The persons responsible for organising the holiday at the holiday destination are required to inform the Prefect of the département in which the holiday destination is situated without delay of any serious accident or any situation that presents or has presented serious risks to the health, integrity or physical and moral well-being of disabled adults.

The regional prefect who issued the authorisation is informed of this information.

Les personnes responsables de l’organisation du séjour sur le lieu de vacances sont tenues d’informer sans délai le préfet du département du lieu de séjour de tout accident grave ainsi que de toute situation présentant ou ayant présenté des risques graves pour la santé, l’intégrité ou le bien-être physique et moral des personnes handicapées majeures.

Le préfet de région qui a délivré l’agrément est informé de cette transmission.
