Approval can only be granted to organisations whose articles of association guarantee democratic operating rules and disinterested management.
In facilities classified as “tourism” or “family holiday homes” that they manage, these organisations must implement a reception policy that promotes social diversity and includes :
1° Priority during school holidays, except in establishments specialising in holidays for children and young people, for families with school-going children;
2° People receiving social assistance or holiday vouchers;
3° Reception of families in difficulty and people experiencing exclusion;
4° Catering for the disabled by providing special facilities and services.
They must offer prices adapted to these objectives.
Any sports, cultural or leisure activities offered, particularly to children, and the contribution made by the organisation’s activities to the development of local tourism are also taken into account when granting approval.
