Article R421-72 of the French Insurance Code

The financing of the actions mentioned in the first paragraph of V of article L. 421-1 is decided by the board of directors of the guarantee fund, up to an annual ceiling of five million euros.

In application of the second paragraph of section V of article L. 421-1, the guarantee fund may carry out any awareness-raising or information campaign directly with the owner of a vehicle likely to be in breach of the insurance obligation referred to in article L. 211-1.

Le financement des actions mentionnées au premier alinéa du V de l’article L. 421-1 est décidé par le conseil d’administration du fonds de garantie, dans la limite d’un plafond annuel de cinq millions d’euros.

En application du second alinéa du V de l’article L. 421-1, le fonds de garantie peut mener toute action de sensibilisation ou d’information directement auprès du propriétaire d’un véhicule susceptible de ne pas satisfaire à l’obligation d’assurance mentionnée à l’article L. 211-1.
