Article R451-6 of the French Insurance Code

I.-Reporting to the Minister responsible for road safety, the monitoring commission referred to in article L. 451-5 comprises the following members:

1° The road safety delegate or his representative, who chairs the commission;

2° The Director General of the Treasury or his representative;

3° The head of the road safety coordination unit or his representative, who reports to the Minister of the Interior;

4° The Director General of the compulsory damage insurance guarantee fund referred to in article L. 421-1 or his representative; 5° The Chairman of the information body referred to in article L. 451-1 or his representative; 6° The Chairman of the French Federation of Insurance Companies or his representative. 421-1 or his representative;

5° The chairman of the information body referred to in article L. 451-1 or his representative;

6° The chairman of the Fédération française de l’assurance or his representative.

II. -The Monitoring Commission may make recommendations relating to the operation of the files provided for in Article L. 451-1-1.

The Commission meets when convened by its Chairman, who sets the agenda. Its secretariat is provided by the Delegation for Road Safety.

The commission shall draw up its own rules of procedure, which shall specify in particular the procedures for adopting recommendations.

I.-Placée auprès du ministre chargé de la sécurité routière, la commission de suivi mentionnée à l’article L. 451-5 comprend les membres suivants :

1° Le délégué à la sécurité routière ou son représentant, président de la commission ;

2° Le directeur général du Trésor ou son représentant ;

3° Le chef de l’unité de coordination de lutte contre l’insécurité routière ou son représentant, placé auprès du ministre de l’intérieur ;

4° Le directeur général du fonds de garantie des assurances obligatoires de dommages mentionné à l’article L. 421-1 ou son représentant ;

5° Le président de l’organisme d’information mentionné à l’article L. 451-1 ou son représentant ;

6° Le président de la Fédération française de l’assurance ou son représentant.

II.-La commission de suivi peut formuler des recommandations relatives au fonctionnement des fichiers prévus à l’article L. 451-1-1.

La commission se réunit sur convocation de son président, qui fixe l’ordre du jour. Son secrétariat est assuré par la délégation à la sécurité routière.

La commission établit son règlement intérieur, lequel précise notamment les modalités d’adoption des recommandations.
