Article R526-22 of the French Commercial code

Within a period of one month prior to the total cessation of his professional activity or within a period of one month from such cessation, the individual limited liability entrepreneur requests, via the single body mentioned in article R. 123-1, his removal from the special register mentioned in Article R. 526-15 indicating the date of cessation.

Dans le délai d’un mois avant la cessation totale de son activité professionnelle ou dans le délai d’un mois à compter de celle-ci, l’entrepreneur individuel à responsabilité limitée demande, par l’intermédiaire de l’organisme unique mentionné à l’article R. 123-1, sa radiation du registre spécial mentionné à l’article R. 526-15 en indiquant la date de cessation.
