Article R6123-131 of the French Public Health Code

I.-For the “interventional rhythmology” modality, option D, authorisation may only be granted if the holder has an intensive care unit on site.

II.-For the “congenital cardiopathies excluding rhythmology” modality, option B, authorisation may only be granted if the holder has an intensive care unit adapted to the patient’s age, on site.

III.-For the following modalities and terms, authorisation may only be granted if the holder has an intensive care unit adapted to the patient’s age, on site or by agreement:

1° “Interventional rhythmology” modality, terms B and C;

2° “Ischaemic and structural cardiopathies in adults” modality;

3° “Congenital cardiopathies other than rhythmology” modality, term A.

IV.-Authorisation may only be granted if the holder has a cardiology intensive care unit on site.

As an exception to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, authorisation for the “interventional rhythmology” option, option A, may be granted if the holder has either a continuous monitoring unit or a cardiology intensive care unit on site.

V. -Authorisation may only be granted if the holder has, on site or by agreement, a neurovascular unit for the following modalities and categories:

1° “Interventional rhythmology” modality, categories C and D;

2° “Congenital cardiopathies other than rhythmology” modality, categories A and B.

I.-Pour la modalité “ rythmologie interventionnelle ”, mention D, l’autorisation ne peut être accordée que si le titulaire dispose d’une unité de réanimation sur site.

II.-Pour la modalité “ cardiopathies congénitales hors rythmologie ”, mention B, l’autorisation ne peut être accordée que si le titulaire dispose d’une unité de réanimation adaptée à l’âge du patient, sur site.

III.-Pour les modalités et les mentions suivantes, l’autorisation ne peut être accordée que si le titulaire dispose d’une unité de réanimation adaptée à l’âge du patient sur site ou par convention :

1° Modalité “ rythmologie interventionnelle ”, mentions B et C ;

2° Modalité “ cardiopathies ischémiques et structurelles de l’adulte ” ;

3° Modalité “ cardiopathies congénitales hors rythmologie ”, mention A.

IV.-L’autorisation ne peut être accordée que si le titulaire dispose, sur site, d’une unité de soins intensifs en cardiologie.

Par exception aux dispositions de l’alinéa qui précède, l’autorisation pour la modalité “ rythmologie interventionnelle ”, mention A, peut être accordée si le titulaire dispose, sur site, soit d’une unité de surveillance continue, soit d’une unité de soins intensifs en cardiologie.

V.-L’autorisation ne peut être accordée que si le titulaire dispose, sur site ou par convention, d’une unité neurovasculaire pour les modalités et mentions suivantes :

1° Modalité “ rythmologie interventionnelle ”, mentions C et D ;

2° Modalité “ cardiopathies congénitales hors rythmologie ”, mentions A et B.
