The qualifying examination comprises two options, to be chosen by the candidate, one in commercial matters, the other in civil matters.
The programme and procedures for this examination, which includes theoretical and practical tests and an internship dissertation, are set by order of the Minister of Justice. Some of the tests may be common to both options.
Each candidate may choose one or both of the options. When a candidate chooses both options, the corresponding tests are taken during the same session.
Successful completion of the examination entitles the candidate to one of the two options.
Successful completion of the examination entitles the candidate to the mention of the speciality corresponding to the option chosen.
