Article R811-7 of the French Commercial code
Only persons holding one of the following qualifications or diplomas may be admitted to sit the examination for admission to the professional traineeship provided for in Article L. 811-5 :

Only persons holding one of the following qualifications or diplomas may be admitted to sit the examination for admission to the professional traineeship provided for in Article L. 811-5 :
Holders of the Diplôme d’études comptables supérieures previously governed by Decree no. 81-537 of 12 May 1981 relating to the Diplôme d’études comptables supérieures are considered, for the purposes of this chapter, as holders of the Diplôme d’études supérieures comptables et financières.
The examination for access to the traineeship is organised by the Conseil national des administrateurs judiciaires et des mandataires judiciaires in accordance with a programme and procedures laid down by order of the garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice. No person may sit the examination more than three times.
The examination panel for access to the traineeship is composed as follows: 1° A magistrate of the judiciary or an adviser to the Court of Cassation or an advocate general to that court, in extraordinary service, chairman; 2° A magistrate of the judiciary; 3° A professor or senior lecturer of law; 4° A professor or senior lecturer of economics or management; 5° Two judicial administrators. The members of the jury are appointed by order of the Minister of Justice, after obtaining the opinion of the Conseil national des administrateurs judiciaires et des mandataires judiciaires in the case of court-appointed administrators. An equal number of alternates are appointed under the same conditions. The chairman and members of the jury are appointed for a period of three years, renewable once.
Where a member is permanently prevented from serving during his term of office, he shall be replaced by a person belonging to the same category for the remainder of his term of office.
In application of the provisions of Article L. 811-5,are exempt from the examination for access to the professional training period: 1° Judicial representatives who have practised their profession for at least three years; 2° Lawyers, notaries, judicial auctioneers, bailiffs, commercial court clerks, chartered accountants and statutory auditors, who have practised their profession for at least five years; 3° Persons who hold one of the qualifications or diplomas mentioned in Article…
The secretary of the committee shall keep a register in which shall be entered the name of the trainee, the name of the supervisor or supervisors, and the dates on which the traineeship began and ended. Any entry in the traineeship register shall be brought to the attention of the National Council within eight days.
The duration of the traineeship is at least three years and at most six years. The traineeship consists of the practice of activities enabling the acquisition of sufficient experience in the professional field of judicial administrators, as an associate of a judicial administrator and under his direct supervision. An agreement will be signed between the trainee candidate and the supervisor, specifying the duration of the traineeship and the nature of the tasks required of the trainee, as well as the terms and conditions of their remuneration. The trainee will send a copy of this agreement to the committee secretariat.
