Article R4142-5 of the French Public Health Code

The regional or inter-regional council of the dental surgeons’ association is made up of: 1° Eight pairs for the regional councils in mainland France; 2° Four pairs for the regional and inter-regional councils in Corsica, Reunion-Mayotte and Antilles-Guyane. Each departmental council is represented by at least one pair. However, where appropriate, the National Council may decide that the same pair of members shall represent several departmental councils.
