CHAPTER III: Responsibilities

In order to enable the agency to ensure, in accordance with the provisions of the third paragraph of article L. 4413-2, the coordination of the region’s actions with those of the State and its public establishments, a coordination committee is set up comprising the regional prefect or his representative, the chairman of the agency’s board of directors or his representative and the agency’s director. To carry out its tasks, the agency has at its disposal staff recruited by it or seconded to it. It may also use staff made available to it.

The agency’s resources include in particular: 1° Appropriations voted annually by the Regional Council; 2° Subsidies and contributions of any kind from the State; 3° Contributions from départements, communes and public and private individuals; 4° Borrowings; 5° Gifts and bequests; 6° Proceeds from the repayment of and interest on loans granted; 7° Proceeds from property and estates managed by the agency.

The acts of the bodies of the agency are automatically enforceable under the conditions defined in articles L. 4141-1 to L. 4142-4.

The agency is subject to the financial and accounting provisions applicable to the Ile-de-France region.
